It comes down to values and beliefs – having an awareness of your personal values will help you to develop more skills, make better informed decisions and choices and help you to create the life you want to live. When you have discovered what makes you tick you’ll discover how your inner beauty can enhance your outer beauty.

To enrich your life means you are living according to what you believe your true values and beliefs to be. Get to know yourself and be happy with yourself.

Your values will be determined by your own beliefs. By saying this, it means that when you make a decision it will be based entirely on evidence. It doesn’t mean that you make a decision based on what someone down the street told you, it is making an individual assessment and decision based on your own set of values and beliefs.

The importance of discovering your values is having the self-awareness to not influence others decisions, that are based on your values. You can certainly explore your own values which will help you to develop you. Knowing your values will help you develop better relationships and you will begin to attract the right people into your life.

Your own values can help you to change your life for the better. Developing your true potential can be life changing. It is important to live a life that is authentic to you. You may outgrow some people at this time but this is just part of your journey in self-discovery.

Having the ability to know and understand your values and beliefs will benefit your future and help you to create much success in your life.

Confidence – you can build on your confidence when you are aware of what your values and your beliefs are. Your beliefs and values are crucial in developing your self-confidence. Having direction and some goals will help you to build your self-esteem, authenticity, integrity and wisdom. You can develop your authenticity by having an awareness of yourself.

Confidence comes from being happy and content with who you are. A good way to grow your confidence is to keep a diary to remind yourself of your strengths and your achievements. Writing your daily positive thoughts and achievements, creates the feeling of gratitude in understanding your capabilities and achievements on a daily basis. Keeping a diary also enables you to take note of the amount of growth you have developed over time.

When you have an understanding of your strengths and your own personal traits you’ll begin to develop a positive mindset, which will in turn develop your self-confidence.

Your self-esteem and confidence will develop and your inner beauty will glow when you are confident with who you are.

Resilience – when you have the ability and adaptability to bounce back by adverse situations. If you have ever been faced with a crisis situation such as financial, family or health problems, you will have noticed that your own unique individual traits will leave you feeling optimistic or pessimistic depending on how well you have discovered your own coping abilities.

Resilience comes from working on your own unique personal and individual qualities. It is not really a trait that comes easily and is a process to work through. Understanding your own unique qualities, and your ability to navigate through tough times, learning to balance negative and positive thoughts and emotions will create a place where you will be able to demonstrate resilience in a positive way.

Crisis and set backs are unfortunately not often easy to deal with. Knowing how to cope with adversity and having the confidence in being able to cope in these situations is having the strategies to deal with adversity.

Coping with stress is different for everyone. If you can find ways that will help you to cope with stress this will be helpful. There are many things you can try to help relieve stress which can include, exercise, writing down your achievements and any goals you have, meditation, yoga or reading a book. It is also important to have your support networks around you.

 

Achieving your ability to adapt to adversity, is building on your values and knowing your strengths. It is important to have confidence in yourself and your own abilities. By working on your own values you are also learning how to problem solve and cope in certain situations. These skills can take time but having a hold on what is important to you and how you cope with certain situations that will arise in your life, will enhance your coping abilities and in time create resilience.

Your inner beauty will go to higher levels when you have discovered how to cope in diverse situations.

Mindfulness – is a great tool to help you feel better, relax, de-stress and to pay attention to your thoughts.

We live such busy lives, so finding 30 minutes to sit in a quiet is spot, often a nearly impossible task to do. Which is why, when you are busy rushing around, it is important for your mind to relax and to achieve some kind of peace. Strive to end the day on a positive note.
